Why wont you verify your profile?

I think its safe to say the website is overrun by white men pretending to be women, couples, or black men. My question is why are those of you who are legit women and couples wont simply verify your profile? Some of you will pay to become Gold members but wont verify. It would be the easiest way to distinguish yourself from the posers in order to clean up the website. Whats your reason for not verifying yourself?

Not everyone is here to meet someone. For some it’s simply a fantasy. For others it’s simply free porn. I understand why some choose not to verify.

If you find a white female, black man, or couple that isn't verified, be aware they may be fake, poser, etc. I've personally found two men posing as women, and I'm sure there are lots of others.

There are posers on every internet site, from Facebook to eBay. This site is no different than anywhere else on the internet.

I will offer a somewhat different answer than the others. Very simply, I have not, do not, and will not post a picture of myself online, in no way shape or form. Not on Spacebook,, Instaspam, Tweeter, etc... Period, end of discussion. I clearly state in my profile and other postings that I am not interested in "hooking up" online. I am a 50 (ish) year old, severely menopausal woman that got along just fine before the internet changed the way everyone gauged their own self-worth. I come here to offer advice from the mistakes that my husband and I made along the way, and possibly share ideas with like minded people.

If this makes you not want to talk to me, or take my opinions seriously, then that is your prerogative. I am not about to risk my professional license and practice just to satisfy someone from the interwebs that I will never meet in person. I have been a member of this site for 5 or 6 years and if you look at my posts you will see my intentions.

I do agree, that if a member is actively seeking men or women on this site, then verification of some sort is a necessity.

Oh we know why. Verification doesn't require to show ones face. But people say "I'm not gonna take pictures" as if there is some violation of their privacy they are trying to avoid.....on a website where people come to for sexual reasons

A question is not stressing. I find it ironic instead of trying to shame the guy asking the question there is no content towards those who seek to deceive black men into thinking they are women.

That true, when I'm faced with a problem or struggle, I find a solution to end that problem or obstacle.

Believe it, there are some very real non-verified members. It's up to you to do the legwork to decide/establish if the person on the other end is whom she claims to be. You do that by researching posting history/likes, share pics and interacting. If it comes up dry, well, you should have noticed the signs sooner. Opening a thread to vent your frustration doesn't lead you in a positive direction.

That said, you can start by using your own head. If she seems "too good to be true," well what do you think? Within the last couple of weeks, 2 "women" who were assumed to be real from their posting history were put on notice. One just assumed a new user name since. The other just changed "her" avatar pic. Yet, nobody else was the least bit suspicious.

The "solution" is for administrators to do more than just verify accounts. How about you guys put something in place to make it more difficult to happen or to purge the members. Its easy to try to denigrate those asking the question. Most who take the easy route are simply LAZY
