It all started Tuesday, when Handler tweeted that she “can’t wait” for the younger Trump to “flip on his *******,” a reference to speculation that Trump Jr. may be the latest White House figure to strike a deal with special counsel Robert Mueller.
POTUS‘s ******* soon fired off a rebuttal, which poked fun at Handler’s comedy career and told her to “stay away from politics.” Handler, a liberal, has recently been using her platform to support female politicians.

The encounter caught the attention of Woods, who turned Trump’s reference to Handler “sucking at two things” (i.e., comedy and politics) into a provocative, shaming gibe. Trump — whose stepmother, Melania Trump, railed against cyberbullying last week — voiced his support for Woods’s remark.

Yeah I thought you probably miss understood the article. I think you need to actually read it instead of making assumptions based on the title. Trump isn't threatening violence, he is claiming that the left will "violently revers his policies" and attack freedom of religion (i.e the dems will take it away.) But like I said, it's just empty threats. The media is simply playing your feelings again. and no - I don't agree with this at all. Your simply wanting to pick a fight.

Ok, ... so what gives you the right?

I know all to well the hypocrisy of the far right Christian. but what your "open mind" is preventing you from seeing is that not all Christians are far right. I don't consider myself christian, and I know several far left who are christian, so where does that leave us?

A "Statesman" ? as in A King perhaps?

I don't defend Trump, never have, never will. You are simply parroting what others claim - I defend some of his policies, the ones I agree with. I have defended several democratic policies as well, like gay marriage, non-district voting, I'm even for socialized medicine, but I want it done right. Not this ******* we have now.

The difference is, I hold the government as a whole to blame, it's not a left or right thing for me. They all lie, they all cheat the American tax payer and they all have one thing in mind - reelection. But no one whats to discuss that. if everyone does not comply to your narative then they are just a "Trumpy" and a "Hater". Your mind is so "open" you can only see one side, yours. So when I'm attacked personally, I strike back. If you want to try and tear down my character I will do the same. The videos I post simply show the left isn't so sweet and innocent either. The only reason everyone is getting so upset about it is because the Truth hurts, and the left don't want to see it, and they definitely don't want those who don't research on their own to see them. Their is enough hypocrisy and lies from both sides to chock a sperm whale and I'm sure we could go tit-for-tat all day long. But if you really are paying attention - I haven't called the videos about the Republicans lies. I don't trust the Republican party anymore than I trust the Democrats. I don't think the far right is any better than the far left but for some reason the only group that thinks they have a right to speak is the left.

Quite frankly, you and others on here trying to stiff arm me and ******* me to comply, shut up, or go away, is really no different than the stunt Trump just pulled - wrap your open mind around that.

Simpleton

thought you left with your tail between your legs!
not trying to push you off....but you are just not posting anything factual or anything someone wants to see...except maybe you and HH

If they are not facts , then they should be easy for you to debunk - I'll wait for the links.

It's simple.
I think the liberal leftist media has done more damage to this country than Trump.
I think we need to upgrade our boarder security, not necessarily a wall, but something needs to be done.
I think (know) Trickle down works far better than redistribution of wealth. So until we can get something better in place, I'll support it.
I know a free economy and capitalism spurs technology forward while socialism stifles it and stagnates a country (been proven many times)
I believe in the constitution and will defend it. In fact, the right to basic medical care should be added to it.
I think the government needs to stay out of our business and let us live our lives.
I think the media has a responsibility to report FACTS and not FEELINGS. They need to check their bias at the door.

Right now all of those things are being attacked by the left, so yes. I will defend what I believe and I will call the leftist bull ******* out when I see it.

opinions are one thing...but when you try to push your opinions as facts...and it just doesn't fly!
Then stop trying to push your opinions.
and your twisted fox vids...knowing no one interested..just being an ass
Only one was from fox and that was more of a joke because you guys keep posting from the huff-post., which is just as bad.
No one is interested in your re-post of the news either but we are not telling you to stop. I'm sure everyone see it in the news.

besides I think you are an ass for not passing on something to the "help"
I'm not going to explain business to you, but yes, the added work allowed me to keep my employees. I personally am making the same, they however keep a pay check. I could just lay them off anyways and do the work myself. And I will be sure to tell them to come to this web site, create an account and personally thank you for it.

Why is it that the left thinks corporations have some huge room full of money they can swim around in? Did Duck Tails really warp your brain when you were young or what?

If they are not facts , then they should be easy for you to debunk - I'll wait for the links.

here we go again....you post something and want US to prove you wrong...when we post we provide a link.....you can't do that?

I think the liberal leftist media has done more damage to this country than Trump.
the media has been doing their thing for years...we all know fox is right and cnn is left...just facts
but trump is slamming all of them EXCEPT fox because they are saying things he doesn't want the country to know.....after all who brought down Nixon?...the news keeps them all in check and always has......trump doesn't want anything out he doesn't approve of! and is trying to stifle the press and the right is buying into it!

I think we need to upgrade our boarder security
agree...all of them have passed the buck for a long time......but the wall? first it is already more than proven they are now tunnel experts...for another they built a simulator wall..and it still showed them climbing it with ease....third trump just wants it as a monument to himself...see I built that! and the big reason...we can not afford it....for the first time that I know of......in texas this week they raided some workplace and got 150 illegals....and the employer knowingly hired them.....there is discussion about punishment...they are on the right track...but what will happen is hard to say.....we have more than enough laws...enforce them......also Trump brought all this up as a bargaining chip for his wall...there was no need to pull the ******* he did!

I think (know) Trickle down works far better than redistribution of wealth. So until we can get something better in place, I'll support it.
wrong....it didn't work with Reagan..he raised Social security and then funneled the money into the gov to cover the losses.....bush tried it and again it didn't work...and trump is set to out do both of them...doesn't that spell trouble if the first 2 didn't work

I know a free economy and capitalism spurs technology forward while socialism stifles it and stagnates a country (been proven many times)

I will agree with that...but these big tax breaks are not doing anything but sending good jobs overseas and hurting us while their profits grow...just like with at&t

In fact, the right to basic medical care should be added to it.
the right could have pitched in and helped with that...everyone knew where the issues were...but that didn't happen...and now all of a sudden people find out they do want it!

I think the media has a responsibility to report FACTS and not FEELINGS
most do...but again that is trump trying to stifle it! because he doesn't like the message...EVERY pres has complained about the press...but they keep things in check!

Right now all of those things are being attacked by the left

yes because the right is so happy with the ******* trump is doing for them they are willing to let him alone...even if Russia did put him there...approval amoung republicans is 80%......so that leaves the left to put the news out...right now the right is party over country!

Then stop trying to push your opinions.
when I post an opinion I do not try to push it off as facts!

Only one was from fox and that was more of a joke because you guys keep posting from the huff-post., which is just as bad

disagree there...I think Huff post is just pretty much posting what is going on
besides most of what is in the press is his own making...the lies..the obstruction...the porn stars...on and on

I'm not going to explain business to you
already gave my opinion on that!

Why is it that the left thinks corporations have some huge room full of money they can swim around in?
Have you checked the profit margins lately?...look at the one I just posted ….but corps hide/send it overseas and etc...they do nothing to help the country it all pure greed>

Pending home sales stumble as housing market momentum wanes

The numbers: Pending-home sales declined 0.7% in July, the National Association of Realtors said Wednesday. In July, the pending home sales index in the Northeast rose 1.0%, while the index in the Midwest inched up 0.3%. Pending home sales in the South fell 1.7%, while in the West, they were down 0.9%. ...

US pending home sales fell 0.7 percent in July
JOSH BOAK

Fewer Americans signed contracts in July to buy homes compared to the previous month, as real estate sales are slipping even though economic growth is solid.
The National Association of Realtors said Wednesday that its pending home sales index fell 0.7 percent last month to 106.2. During the past year, contract signings have tumbled 2.3 percent as home values have climbed at roughly double the pace of average wage growth.
Home sales have stumbled in recent months despite the robust job market. Affordability has become a challenge as there are few entry-level homes priced below $250,000 being listed for sale and mortgage rates have jumped over the past year.
Pending sales in July fell in the West and South, but they rose in the Northeast and Midwest. Sales in all four geographic regions have declined over the past year, with the sharpest drop in the West where homes are generally more expensive.
Pending sales are a barometer of home purchases that are completed a month or two later.

.....Well, excuse me, but just what do you call "trickle down" economics, TwoBi? Its "welfare for the rich", fool. Since Republicans endorsed it as their platform in the 1980's, the separation of wealth between the poorest and richest has continued to balloon; lots of graphs & charts indicating that. Democrats in Washington don't fight it because they benefit from it as well, maybe THAT'S why you don't consider the 'reverse Robin Hood' strategy a success. Republicans don't care if anything trickles down or not, that's just how they sell the failed program to their very naïve constituents. It certainly doesn't create jobs on the scale that they promote it, and it doesn't create more net income for the poor as Republicans immediately cut services that the poor & middleclass depend on, in doing it. So their spendable income is usually always negative as the tax cuts for the wealthiest and the corporations continued to create new millionaires and hugh bonuses for corporate officers. TwoBi, taxes is revenue to the US to meet its expenditure obligations; when you cut revenue, national debt & spending deficits increase. You certainly don't think Republicans are going to implement a major tax cut for the wealthy and then turn around and tax them for it, do you? So who's going to pay for hugh tax cuts for the wealthy ... the voiceless poor and middleclass, that's who. They don't have a voice in Washington ... only at the voting booths and Republicans are trying to marginalize THAT in many states!
.....The only difference between giving the poor and middleclass entitlements and more government services AND cutting taxes on the wealthiest is the direction the benefits of either are going, and as I said, the middleclass & poor have NO VOICE in Washington ... MONEY TALKS! Its amazing at how you conservatives have convinced yourselves that "trickle down" works, much less fair to everyone.

And if you care to look, the poor stay poor and the rich still get richer under redistribution of wealth. Robin Hood economics doesn't work - at all.
Like I said, trickle down works better, Blame the Republicans all you want but the democrats have done very little to rectify it. As you admit, they also benefit. So the Democrats won't change it, the Republicans won't change it - so why vote for either one?

How Reagan Destroyed America & The Middle Class

Reagan is directly responsible for destroying the Middle Class of America, and I am not the only one who thinks so. A number of political analysts have written on this very subject.

James Joiner on allvoices.com calls him "the destroyer of main street" and "the ******* of this nightmare we are living.

He goes on to state of the Republicans: "They call themselves the party of Ronald Reagan! That scares the hell out of me because Reagan was the ******* of the war mongering high Deficit compassionate Conservatives that gave Birth to much war present and future unless Obama can turn around the disaster they created around the world with their war mongering!" (http://www.allvoices.com/contribute...in-street-and-a-ronald-reagan-jr-i-agree-with).

Pablo Mayhew, a columnist on rawstory.com goes so far as to refer to Reagan as a criminal no better than his Republican predecessor, Richard Nixon. He relates Reagan's role in the Iran-Contra affair in which Reagan pled "forgetfulness" when pressed about it.

Mayhew concludes with these words: " as one great writer has contended, that Richard Nixon broke the heart of the American Dream, then Reagan broke its back Now.... the American Dream is clearly down for the count." (http://www.rawstory.com/exclusives/mayhew/reagan_destroyed_american_dream.htm)

And listen to what Thom Hartmann, prominent television and radio talk show host and commentator, had to say about the devastation today on our economy that was the direct result, he reports, of Reaganomics when he appeared as a guest on Dateline just prior to Obama taking office.

"when Reagan came into office we were the largest exporter of manufacturing goods and the largest importer of raw materials on the planet. And, the largest creditor--more people owed us money than anybody else in the world. Now, just 28 years later, we're the largest importer of finished goods, manufactured goods; the largest exporter of raw materials--which is kind of the definition of a third-world nation -- and we're the most in-debt of any country in the world. This is the absolute consequence of Reaganomics." (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/thom-hartmann/thom-hartmann-defends-the_b_150964.html)

Working people's share of the benefits from increased productivity took a sudden turn down:

This resulted in intense concentration of wealth at the top:

And ****** working people to spend down savings to get by:

Which ****** working people to go into debt

"Conservative policies transformed the United States from the largest creditor nation to the largest debtor nation in just a few years, and it has only gotten worse since then: " So avows the author who researched the subject and collected the graphs. (http://www.ourfuture.org/blog-entry/2010062415/reagan-revolution-home-roost-charts)

You can find all kinds of books and articles praising Reagan, but what I have presented are the cold, hard facts about what the man did to our economy with his Reaganomics. For those who would like to read more on this subject, go to:

Reaganomics killed America’s middle class

This country’s fate was sealed when our government slashed taxes on the rich back in 1980

There's nothing "normal" about having a middle class. Having a middle class is a choice that a society has to make, and it's a choice we need to make again in this generation, if we want to stop the destruction of the remnants of the last generation's middle class.

Despite what you might read in the Wall Street Journal or see on Fox News, capitalism is not an economic system that produces a middle class. In fact, if left to its own devices, capitalism tends towards vast levels of inequality and monopoly. The natural and most stable state of capitalism actually looks a lot like the Victorian England depicted in Charles Dickens' novels.

At the top there is a very small class of superrich. Below them, there is a slightly larger, but still very small, "middle" class of professionals and mercantilists - doctor, lawyers, shop-owners - who help keep things running for the superrich and supply the working poor with their needs. And at the very bottom there is the great mass of people - typically over 90 percent of the population - who make up the working poor. They have no wealth - in fact they're typically in debt most of their lives - and can barely survive on what little money they make.

So, for average working people, there is no such thing as a middle class in "normal" capitalism. Wealth accumulates at the very top among the elites, not among everyday working people. Inequality is the default option.

You can see this trend today in America. When we had heavily regulated and taxed capitalism in the post-war era, the largest employer in America was General Motors, and they paid working people what would be, in today's dollars, about $50 an hour with benefits. Reagan began deregulating and cutting taxes on capitalism in 1981, and today, with more classical "raw capitalism," what we call "Reaganomics," or "supply side economics," our nation's largest employer is WalMart and they pay around $10 an hour.

This is how quickly capitalism reorients itself when the brakes of regulation and taxes are removed - this huge change was done in less than 35 years.

The only ways a working-class "middle class" can come about in a capitalist society are by massive social upheaval - a middle class emerged after the Black Plague in Europe in the 14th century - or by heavily taxing the rich.

French economist Thomas Piketty has talked about this at great length in his groundbreaking new book, Capital in the Twenty-First Century. He argues that the middle class that came about in Western Europe and the United States during the mid-twentieth was the direct result of a peculiar set of historical events.

According to Piketty, the post-World War II middle class was created by two major things: the destruction of European inherited wealth during the war and higher taxes on the rich, most of which were rationalized by the war. This brought wealth and income at the top down, and raised working people up into a middle class.

Piketty is right, especially about the importance of high marginal tax rates and inheritance taxes being necessary for the creation of a middle class that includes working-class people. Progressive taxation, when done correctly, pushes wages down to working people and reduces the incentives for the very rich to pillage their companies or rip off their workers. After all, why take another billion when 91 percent of it just going to be paid in taxes?

This is the main reason why, when GM was our largest employer and our working class were also in the middle class, CEOs only took home 30 times what working people did. The top tax rate for all the time America's middle class was created was between 74 and 91 percent. Until, of course, Reagan dropped it to 28 percent and working people moved from the middle class to becoming the working poor.

Other policies, like protective tariffs and strong labor laws also help build a middle class, but progressive taxation is the most important because it is the most direct way to transfer money from the rich to the working poor, and to create a disincentive to theft or monopoly by those at the top.

History shows how important high taxes on the rich are for creating a strong middle class.

If you compare a chart showing the historical top income tax rate over the course of the twentieth century with a chart of income inequality in the United States over roughly the same time period, you'll see that the period with the highest taxes on the rich - the period between the Roosevelt and Reagan administrations - was also the period with the lowest levels of economic inequality.

You'll also notice that since marginal tax rates started to plummet during the Reagan years, income inequality has skyrocketed.

Even more striking, during those same years since Reagan took office and started cutting taxes on the rich, income levels for the top 1 percent have ballooned while income levels for everyone else have stayed pretty much flat.

Coincidence? I think not.

Creating a middle class is always a choice, and by embracing Reaganomics and cutting taxes on the rich, we decided back in 1980 not to have a middle class within a generation or two. George H.W. Bush saw this, and correctly called it "Voodoo Economics." And we're still in the era of Reaganomics - as President Obama recently pointed out, Reagan was a successful revolutionary.

This, of course, is exactly what conservatives always push for. When wealth is spread more equally among all parts of society, people start to expect more from society and start demanding more rights. That leads to social instability, which is feared and hated by conservatives, even though revolutionaries and liberals like Thomas Jefferson welcome it.

And, as Kirk and Buckley predicted back in the 1950s, this is exactly what happened in the 1960s and '70s when taxes on the rich were at their highest. The Civil Rights movement, the women's movement, the consumer movement, the anti-war movement, and the environmental movement - social movements that grew out of the wealth and rising expectations of the post-World War II era's middle class - these all terrified conservatives. Which is why ever since they took power in 1980, they've made gutting working people out of the middle class their number one goal.

We now have a choice in this country. We can either continue going down the road to oligarchy, the road we've been on since the Reagan years, or we can choose to go on the road to a more pluralistic society with working class people able to make it into the middle class. We can't have both.

And if we want to go down the road to letting working people back into the middle class, it all starts with taxing the rich.

The time is long past due for us to roll back the Reagan tax cuts.

2bi you are the perfect example of what is wrong with America!

YOU are whats wrong with America - So go back to your couch and wait for your next government check. Still blaming Regan for your short comings. No wonder you are so screwed in the head. Stop being a taker and start contributing.

2bi your examples of how you treat your employees is a perfect example of what this is all about!

You have no clue how I treat my employees - Bully tacktics aren't going to make me switch sides. I believe in hard work and you make your own way (aside from disabled and elderly). So be a good sheep you are and ******* your Kool-Aid.

.....TwoBi, I think you've read a bit more into my comments regarding the Democrats and their support/objection to SupplySide. Sometimes simply not fighting or objecting enough to something is the same as supporting it. I can't recall any liberals favoring "trickle down", but I can recall, over the past 25 or so years Democrats not fighting loudly enough against it. Enhancing the wealth of the few at the expense of the many with expectations of eventually helping the middle class has been proven wrong time and again, and has exasperated the problem, you damn well know that. Its only caused more and more middleclass to fall into the lower income class. For many of them, the American dream dissipated with the last major recession brought on by deregulations and tax cuts by GW Bush, all a result of the "trickle down" fallacy.
..... Already, Republicans, here in NC, are now implementing their daily strategy of threats in TV ads that IF you vote for Democrats in November THEY will raise your taxes. Undoing a "tax cut" when it hasn't helped the ones they claim it is for, is NOT raising taxes. Republicans can't keep cutting taxes with no balanced budget or plans as to how to offset the loss of revenue, then screaming TAX INCREASE when the Democrats attempt to UNDO their stupid logic. We're just trying to get a FAIR voting system back in place here in NC. It takes 1.3 liberal votes for every ONE conservative vote because of the gerrymandering setup. Three times judges have ordered our Republican legislators to fix the gerrymandered districts they created, and three times Republicans have stalled the orders. So, now its going to the US Supreme Court for more delay, and, by the time a conclusion has been reached, it will be too close to the voting dates to make any change ... exactly what the Republicans were hoping for ... no change for the mid-term election. Judges are actually contemplating moving the voting days into late November or early December. Personally, I think it would be easier to just throw the senate & house asshole leaders in our legislation in jail for contempt until they fixed the problem.

why should he...right now he is promoting violence and hoping his side has more guns?

I'm not advocating cutting more tax's, I agree they have been cut enough. Yes they could go up a bit for corporations - BUT - it needs to be in such a way those corporations won't immediately cut jobs and raise prices. (AT&T got a tax cut and they cut jobs anyways) My company is small but I work with a lot of large fortune 500 corporations all the time. The first thing they talk about when taxes go up - is who to lay off, how to cut benefits, and how to increase their bottom line either by using cheaper parts, cutting labor, or raising prices. Just imposing a tax doesn't work. There is a fine line between keeping the tax just at the right rate we have decent growth and getting too high to cause stagnation. Trumps tax cuts were done for one reason only and we all know what that reason is. It was nice, but I don't belive it was needed for the larger companies.

Also, you guys keep pounding me about Republicans - I don't like republicans any more than you do. lol. I agree they lie and cheat. Have you seen me post anything in support of the GOP? no. I have stated many times the only difference between a Rep and a Dem is the Republican will punch you in the nose and tell you that you deserved it and the Democrat will stab you in the back and point the finger to the Republican. lol. So if you have problems with Republicans in your state you need to vote them out. You know it is possible to hold conservatives values without being a republican.

But until we figure something else out, raising taxes hurts the poor and middle class more than it helps, it doesn't effect the rich at all because they recover that tax by treating the employee even worse, and the poor pay even higher prices. Just look at California, their poverty rate raises in line with their tax rate. this is just one link out of many - but Sub will insist I post a link to "prove" my claim because I guess his search engine is broken.

We need a different plan and the two party system is dead.
