I decided the last minute to vote at all in 2016, I couldn't stand Clinton and again Trump was a huge chance. Trump hasn't let the American people down, he is a successful business man showing he will not fail. He could very well lose in 2020 if republicans take it for granted and become over confident like the Clinton supporters did.

Democrats and Republicans are actually quite central. They can come the table and discuss issues and even come to terms on those issues. The underling problem is both parties have ensured that that no third party will win elections, especially the presidency. This means that for any other party like Socialist, Communist, or even the White supremacist, they must enter our government as a Democrat or Republican. This has been going on for years now so we can no longer identify who is whom anymore. The American people can no longer identify who is far left, who is democrat, who republican and who is far right. The media is only going to push the far left and far right agendas because it touches peoples feelings and boost ratings.
All the dictators, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, they all entered the game under the guise of "being for the people" These leaders gained support of that countries people, they took control of the media and used it to manipulate the people, they took control of the education system to indoctrinate the youth and most importantly - they introduced legislation that changed the current government structure AND DISARMED THE PEOPLE. They also had control of the Military. Yes the commander in chief has control of the military - but anyone who has served KNOWS the first and foremost objective of the US armed forces is to protect the American people NOT the government. This is completely opposite of anything Trump. Trump does not have the support of the country, he has no control of the media - quite obvious. The left controls the education - that is quite obvious as well, the far left wants to distract from that. Trump has not introduced any legislation to try and change how our government functions. It's also obvious that the talking heads here have no clue about history. All they know is Hitler was bad so they liken Trump to Hitler when Hitler has for more in common with the far left. It boggles the mind! As for the military, I don't think there is a general in service today that would follow any order from Trump or ANY president in an action against it's own people, especially an armed people (and who wants to disarm America???).

If we are to remain a two party system, then both the Democrats and Republicans need to get back to their roots. The Democrats are curving too far left for fear of offending someone and loosing votes and the Republicans are being bought out by the mega corps.
