i think it really is all about the genes, and our perception of those genes.
understand there are 2 sets of precursors to consider.
1-the physical.
2-the non-physical.
the physical is the stronger and more needful (aka instinctive) urge...
but the non-physical, which includes intelligence, social prominence, fame, wealth, security, etc (access to resources) is more of a thought out and planned desire. we speak, write, have money, music, art, science, technology, and civilization because of this.
...whereas if it were only up to the physical, all women would be hairy, drag their knuckles, have a thick forehead, and go by names like "ugg".
my sense on this tho is that as society as grown soft, complacent, and sedentary...those that are too much a cliche of it them lose the vital desirability to women. they physical urge never goes away, and is in the moment, much stronger...so if the higher non-physical is no longer dynamically in play, then what is left to compete???
my alyssa has some serious mental & musical/artistic expectations too!
