Normally, I steer clear of posts like this but I get where Tray is coming from. Let me see if I can shed some light on the subject. Now, this site reaches a wide audience, in fact a world wide audience of ladies or couples that are curious/interested in black men and their supposed or actual superior prowess in the bedroom. For some, (I guess) this is their first ever encounter (online) with a person of color (Black/African man) so they might not be aware of how they come across in their posts or maybe even PMs.
In the West, predominantly in the USA, the word "boy" when directed at a black man is very racially charged word much like the "N" word. I believe this harkens back to Jim Crow era and laws that enforced racial segregation in the US South well into the mid 1960s. So, no matter how young or old you were, if you were a black man, you'd be referred to as "boy". Examples: "Boy, come here." "You lost, boy?" "You ain't from around these parts, are you boy?" "We don't serve your kind around here, boy." etc., etc. So, imagine if you're with a woman and she let's that word slip out or even the "N" word. To me, that would ******* the sex vibe dead much like if a woman hates to be called a "slut" or "bitch" even if she was having the best and messiest sex of her life. Unless race play was part of the sex scenario, this would most certainly be a major turn off.
For me, I despise excessive political correctness and I definitely have a thick skin. However, in this case, it's worth being aware of what's being said or written. Now, some people may notice the double standard and this is something that's part of the current Black or African American urban experience. As in, if you're a brotha it's ok to talk to another brotha that way. It is what it is. Examples: "Sup ma ni**a, what's good?" Or "Hey man, your boy Kanye, he done lost his mind." So on and so forth. In conclusion, to avoid any issues, stick to the word man.
Hope this explanation helps.
