The FBI is investigating whether a Russian banker, mafia boss and politician with close ties to Vladimir Putin illegally funneled millions to the NRA to help Trump win the presidency. Alexander Torshin, a former Russian senator with connections to the Kremlin, is the deputy governor of Russia’s central bank—and a lifetime NRA member, as reported by McClatchy.
Torshin, a gun enthusiast, has attended several NRA conventions, including the May 2016 convention in Kentucky, where he spoke with Donald Trump Jr. and the gun rights organization endorsed Trump for president.
Torshin is reportedly the godfather of the Russian criminal syndicate Taganskaya. Authorities in Spain were prepared to arrest him in 2013 on the resort island of Mallorca for money laundering, until he cancelled his travel plans. I am not a nra member I am a legal gun owner. And now there are hundreds of thousand new legal owners which will not go for a anti gun platform

I am not one either....I was when I worked in a union job......UNTIL...they posted an article in their own magazine titled. " the way to separate a man from his politics is through his sport".....never was a member after that...……...as for your comments on new gun owners...….you are wrong....right now the majority of people in the us are gun owners...……..but gun sales are NOT going to new gun owners...….the ones that already have guns are just buying more...that is what has the NRA worried...no new people and gun sales slipping....it is up over the coronavirus for some crazy reason.....but my neighbor gave me his explanation and think it stands for most......when jobs and economy in the tanks......violence always goes up...people stocking up on ammo!
