“I did a lot of freaking out about Barack Obama,” Beck admits in a surprising interview with the New Yorker, published this week. “Obama made me a better man.”
Beck was converted in part by his staunch opposition to Donald Trump, whom Beck is convinced is crazy. “We had this weird, almost Howard Hughes-like conversation,” Beck told The New Yorker’s Nicholas Schmidle, describing a conversation the two had at Mar-a-Lago. “This guy is dangerously unhinged,” he concluded.
The 52-year-old television and radio host has made no secret of his feeling toward Trump over the past year. In December, he contributed an essay to the National Review’s “Against Trump” issue, writing that Trump’s policies are antithetical to true conservatism: “If Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination, there will once again be no opposition to an ever-expanding government.”​

personally I think trump is working on an insanity defence. You know like the one the mafia don used to stay out of jail.

on another note I think there should be term limits at all levels of government not just the president. Have to get some fresh ******* in there.

at the very least the politicans should have to wear the crests of their biggest Sponcers just like NASCAR Drivers.

Supreme Court included. Not sure it's best in Congress. Seniority and experience should matter. Look at the what's happening now. We got rid of a lot of experts, installed loyalist and now with a pandemic we can't even manage it better than Singapore. Shame.
Instead, of term limits, remove are money from politics over a certain total. So instead of individual limits, you have candidate limits. And it should be low. Once it's to the general election, it should be a set amount that is publicly funded. One way to lower the influence of money in politics is to control the money.
Same amount of money across the board, would set the playing field even and test the budgeting and earned media skills. As an elected official, you won't spend 4 hours a day doing some kind of fund raising and maybe use that time you know, legislating.

The attacks on Biden and Kerry are apparently based on Schweizer’s assertion that, while in their roles as Vice President and Secretary of State, they went easy on China and their sons benefited in their business dealings as a result. Once again, he’s playing the “merchant of doubt” with no actual evidence of corruption. All he has is a factless assertion that these two politicians gave China a break and that their sons were rewarded.
