I have repeatedly said they both dodged draft I served you served. I don't think everyone is made for war that's why we have a volunteer ******* but when nation calls you go
I was "Volunteered by my friends and neighbors" well actually I wasn't...few of my friends were...I had parents sign so I could go in at early age....gunh ho in those days.....learned a lot in there....how NOT to trust your government........……..and at the time did not like anyone who didn't go....even Mohamed Ali.....and a few others...but now days it is volunteer so their choice
I signed at 17 but deferred entry till I graduated high school my parent's signed as well
I had already quit school...….parents not happy at all...so went in at 16...fudged on my age ...parents were dumb enough to think I wouldn't end up in war at that age....but the army didn't know nor did they care....went for 3 years...then offered ALOT of money to stay so I did.....can't really complain about any of it...could have had it a lot worse....I made rank as fast as you could make it.....still ghung ho ...was in aviation and officers all over the place...no such thing as a salute....wear your fucking arm out...nice guys same as everyone else...just they have rank...….came back a SSgt went to "big red one"...first sgt only had one more stripe than me......nice guy but....had a cpt for a Co.....really thought his ******* didn't stink....we never did get along.....he sent me to NCO academy right away....after that I volunteered for another month for high school education....after that 3 months he was gone....settled into easy life after that

In an interview Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," Fauci was asked if lives could have been saved had social distancing been imposed during the third week of February instead of mid-March. Fauci said, "It's very difficult to go back and say that. I mean, obviously, you could logically say that if you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives. Obviously, no one is going to deny that."
Fauci said, "What goes into those kinds of decisions is – is complicated. But you're right. I mean, obviously, if we had, right from the very beginning, shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then."
Trump, who on Sunday re-tweeted a supporters' statement that Fauci should be fired, called the epidemic expert to the podium early in the briefing, an unusual move. Fauci, the long-time director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, denied that Trump ****** him to make the statement. He told reporters, "everything I do is voluntary.
