BOOOM!!!!!!!
Kimmel tweeted back after Trump Jr. replied, and included a YouTube clip of the 2005 Access Hollywood tape in which Trump is heard talking to host Billy Bush about groping women without their consent.

"I don't even wait," Trump said on the tape. "You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the p---y. You can do anything."

Laying out a comprehensive case that Trump obstructed justice
Washington Post

In what amounts to an amicus brief for use by special counsel Robert S. Muller III and his team, Norman Eisen, Barry Berke and Noah Bookbinder have released a 108-page article on the topic of President Trump’s possible obstruction of justice. While noting that criminal misconduct is not the only basis for impeachment, they argue that the special counsel’s finding of such conduct certainly should inform Congress’s decision. They write: There are significant questions as to whether President Trump obstructed justice. We do not yet know all the relevant facts, and any final determination must await further investigation, including by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. But the public ...

I see Page is refusing to cooperate with congress...getting a little "ballsie" along with some of his other cronies...Page the same one that said there would be violence if they try to impeach Trump.....guess they are starting to think they don't have to answer any questions... as Trump will just pardon them!

also I see Trump is demanding Mueller "clear" his name in all this...that is not going to happen...already have enough to get him on obstruction....still working on the collusion part....he should be gone now!...but the right has an agenda they want passed.....with Trump signing it...then they can impeach his ass and when things go sour blame it all on Trump!

One thing all the Trump haters don't seem to get is that Trump could be more dangerous to the Democratic Party out of office than in office. Like it or not the man has deep pockets, very deep pockets. I have know a number of CEO's in my career and I have known more than one like Trump. People like him can and are vengeful and unforgiving.

One of things that has kept secrets secret is both parties have a lot to hide. There is a tacit understanding of where the line is that doesn't get crossed.

So let's say Trump get impeached. More than likely he won't resign he will let it go to trial or at least let it get close to trial. The guy is worth somewhere between 2 and 4 billion dollars. He can assemble the finest legal team to defend him. He can also afford to go digging for all those secrets that Washington has hid so well. I suspect there are some very good bargaining chips out there.

Trump going to prison? Only if it serves his long term goals. He will go to prison only if it benefits him. Otherwise his legal teem can keep the appeals going for any conviction at least 10 to 15 years. If he doesn't want to go to prison he will die of old age before he goes to prison. Maybe he will get put under house arrest in Trump tower, that might be the worst that would happen. And you have a guy with those very deep pockets that is going to be pissed and very vindictive

IF he does get impeached one likely scenario is that he would agree to resign on the proviso that Pence pardon him. Trump might also agree not to expose any major Republican sins against America and concentrate his venom on the Democratic party. A pardon likely wouldn't draw much ire, most Americans are tired of hearing all about this. Plus some interesting things are coming to light that may well refute some of the accusations against Trump

Trump leaving office for any reason could be highly beneficial to the Republicans and a nightmare for the Democrats. And I have no doubt that there people in Washington that have come to the same realization.

He can assemble the finest legal team to defend him.

he already has.....some of which we are paying for..some used from campaign money and some from his own pocket
he intends to fight I'm sure of that....but when it comes to impeachment...it will be those fellow republicans that have to do it!
He might want to blame the Dems...and yes the Dems want him out...but the repub's will have to pull the trigger

. Otherwise his legal teem can keep the appeals going for any conviction at least 10 to 15 years. If he doesn't want to go to prison he will die of old age before he goes to prison.

I really doubt he would serve time...although he should ....for TREASON!...but I'd bet Pence would pardon him

And you have a guy with those very deep pockets that is going to be pissed and very vindictive

oh yes...he has already shown how vindictive he can be....now pushing for name a SS# and address' of people on facebook that make fun of him...and now wanting to pull the lic of any news broadcaster that says what he doesn't like

a lot of you people on the right defend him....but this guy is nothing but bad news

Obama is petty and vindictive, however is is more discreet about and a way better salesman.

That might not be too terribly far fetched. A lot depends on how the next few month pan out. The Republicans are really in a "No Lose" situation. If Trump pulls some or most of his plans off the Republicans can puff out their chests and say they stayed with their man. If things go farther south they can impeach him, tell everyone how they are for the American people and turn Trump loose on the Democratic party

I think Coker about summed up what a lot are thinking...just not saying...

The Republicans are really in a "No Lose" situation.

again to much Fox news....haven't you kept up on your reading altely?...most of the republican donors are not parting with any money ....because the republicans can't seem to accomplish anything!

If Trump pulls some or most of his plans off the Republicans can puff out their chests and say they stayed with their man.

His agenda is not a winning one so far..he lost on ACA..so is working on killing it a little at a time...and even some republicans are not happy about that....tax reform...so far not flying...no way of paying for what all he wants...but then he doesn't care he is used to filing for bankruptcy...but hard to do for the country...it would be a recession...now he wants to blackmail congress on his wall vs the dreamers...and again some on the right are not liking that....looking mighty slim for him to accomplish anything his first year!
AND HOPEFULLY IT IS HIS ONLY YEAR!

If things go farther south they can impeach him

I think the closer it gets to election they will have to impeach him...providing Mueller is done by then...but even without that they are losing voters and support and they know it...impeachment would be a step in the right direction just to save face!

turn Trump loose on the Democratic party

Can't ....the republicans control congress...so it will be their noose that hangs him!

you just can not make a statement without bringing up your hate for Obama and Clinton....two of the most popular Presidents to serve....and the most hated by those on the right....waaaay to much Fox news!
I can't say I hate the Clinton's or the Obama. I would love to get a good look a the Clinton's books for their non profit. There is enough stuff in the public record that I think warrants an additional close look. And Obama he screwed everybody from the first time he ran for public office through his presidency. He single-handedly did more damage to the the Democratic Party than the Republicans could have ever hoped and you all love him. Unbelievable!

I don't watch much network news. I rely mostly on the sources I used before retirement. Only now I have to pay the tab. I find it interesting that you equate popular with good. The Clinton's and Obama are both excellent at selling themselves. The Clinton's and Obama used and are using politics to generate their wealth, the welfare of the people that they are supposed to serve is secondary unless you make a large enough "contribution"

IMPEACHMENT thread!
Look at it this way, subhub ... you must be right or they wouldn't be attempting to draw attention away from the real topic of discussion. Also, many of Trump's own constituents are now having doubts and dropping out of the ranks. Trump doesn't just suck at politics or as President, he sucks as a PERSON!

‘Art Of The Deal’ ghostwriter predicts President Trump will not finish his first year in office
AOL.com Aris Folley, AOL.com,AOL

Tony Schwartz, co-author of Donald Trump’s ‘The Art of the Deal,’ still says that President Trump will not finish his first year in office.

“I still believe (and pray) Trump will resign by year end to avoid worse humiliation – e.g.indictment by Mueller, or 25th amendment removal,” Schwartz tweeted on Thursday.

He made his original prediction for Trump’s early departure back in August and also via Twitter.

“The circle is closing at blinding speed. Trump is going to resign and declare victory before Mueller and congress leave him no choice,” Schwartz wrote at the time.

“Trump’s presidency is effectively over,“ he added. ”Would be amazed if he survives till end of the year. More likely resigns by fall, if not sooner."

Trump Family Spending Millions on Legal Fees in the Russian Probe, Campaign Records Show
Newsweek Cristina Silva,Newsweek

There is no solid evidence (yet?) that shows Russia put Donald Trump in the White House, but the investigation into potential collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump family during the 2016 presidential election is already costing the president's campaign big bucks. Trump's campaign spent more than $1 million in legal bills over the past three months, including more than $200,000 toward lawyers representing Donald Trump Jr., according to campaign spending records filed to the Federal Election Commission and made public Sunday.

The spending adds up fast: The campaign gave $802,185 to the law firm Jones Day, longtime lawyers for the Trump campaign and one of the nation's top paid legal offices. The $1 million in legal fees represents a sizable chunk of the total $4 million in spending the campaign reported.

In all, the latest expenses means the president's campaign and the Republican National Committee have so far spent more than $2 million on legal representation for the first family in the Russian probes being carried out by congressional committees and special counsel Robert Mueller. Under federal law, the president's campaign can pay for his legal fees if the costs relate directly to the investigation.

Ex-Russian oligarch says there's a 90 percent chance Putin 'personally' tried to collude with Trump campaign
The Week 9 hours

Two new reports suggest that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his top associates were directly involved with attempts to influence the 2016 U.S. election, including an interview with exiled former oil oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky, whom Putin jailed on iffy charges for a decade. "I am almost convinced that Putin's people have tried to influence the U.S. election in some way," Khodorkovsky told MSNBC's Ari Melber, and the likelihood that Putin "personally" tried to cooperate with President Trump's campaign is a "9 out of 10," he said, adding: "Whether or not that proposal was accepted, I would let the people responsible for investigating the matter answer that question." When he ran Russian ...

Trump Campaign Staffers Pushed Russian Propaganda Days Before the Election

Some of the Trump campaign’s most prominent names and supporters, including Trump’s campaign manager, digital director and *******, pushed tweets from troll accounts paid for by the Russian government in the heat of the 2016 election campaign.

The Twitter account @Ten_GOP, which called itself the “Unofficial Twitter account of Tennessee Republicans,” was operated from the Kremlin-backed “Russian troll farm,” or Internet Research Agency, a source familiar with the account confirmed with The Daily Beast.

The account’s origins in the Internet Research Agency were originally reported by the independent Russian news outlet RBC. @Ten_GOP was created on November 19, 2015, and accumulated over 100 thousand followers before Twitter shut it down. The Daily Beast independently confirmed the reasons for @Ten_GOP's account termination.

The discovery of the now-unavailable tweets presents the first evidence that several members of the Trump campaign pushed covert Russian propaganda on social media in the run-up to the 2016 election.

A Twitter spokesperson declined to comment, “for privacy and security reasons."

Two days before election day, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway tweeted a post by @Ten_GOP regarding Hillary Clinton’s email.

“mom of jailed sailor: 'Hold Hillary to same standards as my ******* on Classified info' #hillarysemail #WeinerGate” the tweet reads.
