We live in a post truth world where noone gives a fuck about facts! What do your emotions tell you?
The 1% getting their tax cuts and literally nothing else passing in a Trump/GOP controlled house/ senate/ president (MAGA)
or..
1. Medicare for all Americans
2. College education for all Americans so we don't need to hire H1B's or immigrants for high skilled jobs
3. $6000 income tax credits for everyone making under $100k!
As much as my emotions says that's becoming more the case, I can't accept that way of thinking. If you don't have truth, you have nothing.
I just wanted to share this from the perspective of someone who worked at Planned Parenthood and ran that facility as a director for 8 years. I will allow those who dare to view this arrive at their own conclusions:

Not criticising the American system at all - the British system isn't that different. But I'd more strictly control funding of political parties. I would make funding a level playing field and have it a role of government - all parties get the same amount of money and the same amount of airtime on TV. Then you might get new parties entering the arena and increasing choice.
I'm assuming that US politicians aren't allowed to take money from businesses? That's a big no-no. How can one be impartial with a wad of notes in your pocket?

Why do you think the rich are so eager to donate to Trump? Or if the next president is a dem.. will be so eager to donate to him, and then to the next?
