have to agree there....they could have worked out some kind of regulation between the two parties...but no the right/NRA wanted it all on their own....now there is a mass push to take them away...and that push is growing momentum!

I wasn't saying I agreed with what he did ... I can understand why he didn't. He wasn't stupid. One hand gun against an AR-15 ... its doubtful he would have done anything more than get himself killed. Certainly if it was a school staff, they shouldn't feel obligated simply because they carry a gun in the school, to go out and confront the bad guy. They're there for the ******* ... teach & protect them.
As far as the schools having "fun raisings" etc ... Alanm, the Republicans are pulling money OUT of the public school systems and putting them into voucher programs for private schools. Where have YOU BEEN? Its not the school's responsibility to provide a safe environment for the ******* to learn ... its the governments. And the one we have now sucks Big Time and you know it.

I have asked you before when will there be enough gun control and your response was, basically, never. So as long as people are getting shot, the left will continue to push for more and more gun control, until the only answer left is confiscation. Think of it this way ... in a hundred years or so they may be firing rayguns or whatever .... certainly today's gun laws wouldn't hold up THEN no more than gun laws of the mid-1800's would hold up now. But that's here or there ... you have your guns, I have my guns ... only difference is I feel perfectly fine with new restrictions on guns and you don't because you don't trust anyone. They can fund raise on there own just like they do for the ******* i mentioned. Here is an idea how about the teachers pay a.little more for there health care and we take the extra school tax left over to make the school security better. I would gladly keep paying my riduculously high school tax if some of it went to a program like that
You'd be surprised what these ******* know these days. I know they take courses I took in HS in Middle School, and I know a lot of ******* are successful in spite of the lack of help they get from their local state governments. Here in NC our wonderful Republican run state government rechanneled over $800 thousand of money that was suppose to go to public schools, to their voucher/private schools program, even after the majority of the voters yelled & screamed about it.
So, do you think the 2nd Amendment would have been written any differently had the writers had access to the weaponry of the 21st century? Of course they would.

If you recall in the Politics-Politics-Politics thread over a year ago I got really upset about NC voter tampering/suppression and you conservatives seemed to have no issues with it. Now its come to light and you're finding out that even a foreign country can come in and tamper with our voting system. One of the big reasons why blacks refuse to turn out to vote is because of the issues TO VOTE .... gerrymandering, calling ID fraud by the thousands, etc etc .... yet you folks had no issues with THAT EITHER. KARMA my man ... its come around to bite you. By the way, 3 times federal judges have instructed the Republican general assembly to put the voting districts BACK to before their major gerrymandered current state, and 3 times the state assembly have ignored the judges ... 3 times. Its got to stop ... it really does.

Thats a little misleading. Since swedens guns per 100 people.is about 32. For every 100 people they have 32 guns.
The United states has almost 89 guns per 100 people. Almost 3 times as many guns than sweden.
Also the gun laws in sweden are much more restrictive than here. Its against the law to carry a concealed weapon in Sweden. To own a gun period you must have a license and most weapons in sweden are for hunting purposes. Take a look at their gun laws.....much more.stringent than ours. Completely different situation than the united states.
