What is it about the youth in this community?

I have found this to be very true..it's all about maturity and being very open-minded and able to face reality.
Same for us, my wife is very open to younger guys if they are mature, good at communication and able to understand how to interact with us as a couple. Some younger guys just aren't there yet with that maturity and that's ok, we just move on and look elsewhere. But we don't discriminate based on age because we have also found people our age that are very immature and bad at communication, so it really does come down to the individual and their unique personality. To the guy who started the thread - Keep looking and you'll find cool people! Just gotta find your kindred spirits.

One other tip from a couple - we have found many younger guys to be more on the side of reaching out last minute and checking in on a certain day and asking if we are available that night. Try to remember that older couples often have to plan ahead for play due to having alot more things going on like finding sitters, etc. That would help you as well

Im 22 years old and i’ve been in the community watching/playing (metaphorically) from the sidelines for a year. I’ve been dubbed on multiple occasions for the simple fact that “i am too young”, not even a chance to talk and know each other. I just find this shocking for Florida cause it’s known for this haha. I take little offense to it because i know that i am a matured soul and have been told that hence why i want to be in the community. I just want to know if there’s a way to help alleviate the “ick” of my age without lying about it or should i respect their loss and sip my tea in solitude?
I mean maybe they think you're too inexperienced
