TRUMP is baaaaaaaaaaaack !!!!!

You just like to argue - I generally don’t.

Unfortunately I hate to see what Dems are doing to the good ole USA more - so it makes me much more willing to argue - however arguing with Dems or Marxists is an exercise in futility.
Well, get some facts, and drop the emotions and then maybe you will have something to say.
Actually of you did that, you'd see the truth and be one of us.

I’m just glad you’re in a shrinking minority now 😁
Nope.
The majority of Americans are against the Republican party.
You belong to a shrinking minority that is working on making voting difficult and discouraging, plus gerrymandering for Americans because the majority do not support you.

All I can say in response to that is - to me at least - there seems to be a plethora of crazies about - is Covid somewhat to blame - prolly so. Keeping guns away from crazies would be ideal - if possible.

Getting pretty bad when a guy guns down his Doc and 3 innocent bystanders cause of back pain. Yup guy had an AR - most handguns would have been just as effective though. So making the AR the issue kinda misses the point.
too many guns.

In fact - I’d do everyfuckinthing the opposite of what he has done !!!!!!u
You mean you'll raise the debt, raise the deficit, cut interest rates, and shrink the job market?
That doesn't seem like it would be helpful- but it does sound very Republican.

I think like religion political discussions are mostly based on an individual’s point of view, facts are usually filtered to strengthen one’s point of view, usually neither side is totally correct or at fault
Usually, there is one side or the other that is at fault.

That only applies to specifics but not to the whole eg: abortion (republicans are correct it’s not good and should be controlled, Guns (Dems are correct it is not good and should be controlled).
Biden (has good experience in social and ethical decision making, is more selfless in his attitude not the best leader overall, but his decision will lead to a more wholistic and civilized result after the pain of the economic inflation, its a longer but more meaningful change that I believe will have more to do with social growth than economical gains. Trump ( appeals to those who are more inward thinking, usually smart in respect to personal growth but with less regard or respect for those outside of the circle, which is a necessary requirement for the truly successful, unfortunately while there is economical growth the social structure will deteriorate.
That’s My opinion, I am not qualified to truly judge either group economically or socially so I always default to my basic principles of Love and consciousness to decide where to put my support. ..

Well spoken - thanks for your thoughtful comments !!!

You use abortion and guns to make a point about both sides having culpability but then say who is correct?
Those are two RARE issues where even my leftist ass will admit - both sides have strong points.
I would say on guns, there is a Second Amendment to own firearms, so that's correct, however, the right to regulate (well-regulated) lies within the government at the federal, state and local levels. Until this became a political issue in the 1960s (certain people didn't like certain people having and exercising those same rights) gun ownership was always regulated at the local level. Even in the Old West, some towns, many towns, banned carrying guns unless you carried a badge.
You've got abortion wrong. Republicans are not trying to control, they are are trying to outlaw it. Period.

Pretty damn good on foreign policy. World leaders were relieved when he became president and are taking his lead on many issues including Ukraine.
Trump ( appeals to those who are more inward thinking,
I call them selfish and self serving but, close to the same.

I'd say more recent.

the horrible decision to run a draft in the vietnam war, and to offer no services for returning vets, led to the massive growth of white supremacist prepper compounds who started stockpiling guns in preparation for a nuclear war they saw as inevitable, after which they'd emerge from the ashes to be kings of their own ethno-states

when the feds started going after them (e.g. Ruby Ridge) in the 90s, and fucked that up bad, it caused a big shift in the attitude toward guns. Whereas previously we had Ronald Reagan supporting gun control because of a fear of the Black Panthers, now we had white reactionary conservatives under attack by the feds. NRA memberships went up, guns became a reactionary conservative identity status symbol, etc.

remember it wasn't until 2008 when the DC vs. Heller decision overturned DC's handgun ban, which had been in place since the 70s

What a truly complicated world we live in… growth of this so called civilized world will be slow but in time it will evolve into its best form.. I believe that will be a world without war, greed where humanity works together for the best outcome for all not for a few, unfortunately I doubt we will live to ever see that happen..
my personal feelings about guns differs from what my logical mind tells me, I always stay away from the topic but it’s good hearing other opinions on the subject.
