Education- why America needs more investment into it

Trump “ you send your ******* to school, and the come back changed, he was a boy now he’s a girl. They don’t even contact the parents. They just change them”
😂😂😂😂🤦‍♀️.
Yea @Lebain you lot got a “smart” one here.

Also his comedian content was scrutinised prior to saying Puerto was a floating island of garbage and they “should cum outside”

What the fk is wrong with you people? It’s a presidential rally, not a bar chat with degenerates. Unbelievable.

I think the constitution left to responsibility of education on the states. If so, that's a huge issue because lack of funding and standardization is making us as a country dumb. I'd prefer curriculum developed and maintained by educators vice politicians but lobbyists have other plans from our elected officials
And then we even have at least one politician bragging about receiving the vote of the poorly educated, which is exactly how he wants to keep them too as it benefits him 🙄

Politicians don't benefit from an educated population. If all of us understood how politicians leverage their position to profit themselves as well as their lobbyists/donors then we wouldn't really need to worry about a lot of things.

America's problem is that schools overload students with homework. Countries like Finland and Korea are better in education without excessive homework.

The verdict is in, and when it comes to homework, it appears that less is more. Research shows that several of the countries scoring top in the world for education, surprisingly dole out the least amount of homework to their students.

South Korea leads the world in education, and on average, students receive less than 3 hours of homework per week.

On the other hand, the United States leads the charge with the most money spent on education per student and students receive a significantly greater amount of homework, but clocks in at number 17 in the world for education. So, why the disparity?

I don’t disagree with you. It’s True all round however only one side embraces science and facts. Neil De Grasse said we are a species that builds on our previous knowledge to ensure the next generation is better off however flawed it is , it’s the best system we have, together.
Trump just bathed in ignorance and misinformation.

Agreed

Agreed but also well paid well resourced teachers is important

I would not be so quick to praise the South Korean system. There are many problems with it, as the piece below points out. The fact of the matter is that the most successful students attend private schools on top of everything else they have to do. If anybody thinks the most successful students aren't putting in hours of extra work, then think again:

Australians are still stunned that trump is a convicted ******* , convicted fraudster , just frankly talks 💩 about everything, has almost everyone who has worked with him backing Kamala, and this election is close?
Honestly if this isn’t a reason for better schools, I don’t know what is.
