I have to disagree. I have been wearing a cage since april 2023. I'm not 24/7 locked, but I can be locked for a few days on end without have pain or irritating the skin. My girlfriend and I cannot see each other during the weekend because due to living on other sides of the country. During that time I stay locked. (It took months of practice to be able to wear it without strain)

I don't see how they are not secure? No way I can get out of it without using a bolt cutter for the lock.
