As a college professor I frequently teach a course in public speaking. About a decade ago there was a striking woman in her late twenties who gave a speech revealing that she had been a porn star. (Some of her videos were on the internet at the time but I believe most have been removed) She got the guys in the class (and me) all worked up as she described her experience, but the one thing I remember her explaining is that not all of the passion was acting. She made it clear that she enjoyed what she did but decided to return to school in order to make more of her life.
