Sex is for procreation and recreation. It's the recreation, performance, leisure, and pleasure of entertaining that we specialize.
Go back to our ancestry and look at the cultural traditions and ceremonies that were performed for mating and courtship or even out of competition just to court a potential mate. The desire for showmanship, entertainment, and even competition is in our *******.
Look at the contributions that black men made to the music industry. Before black men got involved it was the old "do wap" songs and good clean all American white boys singing stuff that you didn't need any rythm to listen to. Then guys like Muddy Waters, and Howling wolf came along singing the blues and bringing rythm and rhyme and riffs nobody's ever heard before! They brought rythm and blues out of the Juke Joints of the black community and into the mainstream which could not even accept looking at their black faces. Chuck Berry was the first guy to go hard on the lead guitar like a wild man singing and dancing creating a whole new sound which became rock n roll! Again America loved that new sound but they didn't accept where that sound came from. Guys like Chuck Berry and their new rock sound was so popular that they used to get Invited to all white venues but when they got there and it was discovered that they were black they were not allowed in. So America loved that new sound they just didn't know where it was coming from and the men who created it was never truly given the recognition that they deserved. Kind of like getting a medal of honor 20 years after your death!
This is why Elvis Presley was crowned the king of rock n roll. He adopted that sound coming from the brotha's which had no face until he came on the scene singing and dancing to the new rythm and blues sound and he gave that new sound a face that America could accept. So if you're white and you saw Elvis getting down singing and dancing and shaking it while singing his ass off to rythm and blues at the microphone you would naturally accredit him for that new sound. Not knowing that the black men whom he let's say adopted his rock n roll style from were actually hurt and complained that Elvis was living off of their contributions to entertainment.
So rythm, performance, showmanship, and the desire to compete all for the purpose of entertaining a potential mate or suitor is in our ******* as black men. I believe that these attributes and abilities have been passed down genetically and that we have a choice whether to use them to bless the world or not!
Why are we so good at laying pipe? I say its cultural traditions passed down genetically from our ancestors!
