Seriously, TwoBi? Where should I start as the list is long and growing? Let's see if THIS is specific enough for you .... the health insurance that they promised to have "better for less" that they really had NO intention of ever providing to the people while trying to sabotage the existing plans and taking millions of "uninsurables" off their coverages and making changes to intentionally cause the costs to go up, up, up for THE ONES WHO HAD IT? Or, maybe the separation of thousands of children from their parents at the border with no intention of re-uniting them. Or, implementing very little concern or any efforts to stop the Russian infiltration of our voting systems, or the various efforts to suppress voting rights while pointing fingers at the minorities for voting violations that only the Republicans have been caught doing in large numbers thus far? Or, maybe their current efforts to ******* Roe vs Wade under a false premise of "right to life"? I mean, these are the current assaults on the voters and citizens. What about the Trump tax cut that Republicans KNEW greatly favored the RICH & CORPORATIONS but lied to the public about? They purposely deceived and lied on all these things to gain control!! The Republicans embraced a growing form of nationalism that marginalizes a very large number of citizens of the US.
Republicans have been seeing their popular voting base deteriorate for some time now, brought on by a diminishing industrial age, so they began elevating themselves to power by hacking, bots, gerrymandering, voter suppression, huge PACs; the tectonic shift in politics institutionalized by Trump and his earlier original cronies (most of which are gone or in jail now). The "denial of reality" by the DO NOTHING Republicans who took their name in secrecy and were "anti-immigrant" nativist. Using the BIG LIE propaganda of "alt-facts" that Hitler famously recommended and proved that the truth and facts don't exist if a LIE is repeated often enough; or that the values of education, knowledge, or evidence even matter... "screw the country to save the party" ... and the real interesting thing about all this is Republicans and Trump have been so UP FRONT about it all, daring anyone to stop them. Today's Republican party doesn't even resemble what it was 20 years ago.
Ethic nationalism, something that Trump embraces, builds a tribal identity around ethnicity & religion to justify his disguised monarchy. Germany is a good example of ethnic nationalism that run amok, used as their "drive to power" at the expense of the poor and the minorities. A rise of a "white supremacist nationalism" based upon hating others and rejecting liberalism. Republicans don't even raise an eyebrow to all the President's lying, corruption, constitutional violations, and misdirections; instead of protecting our constitution as Republicans took oath to do, they cover for their President. The Party Of Trump is walking our nation straight into a form of fascism, whether you wish to acknowledge it or NOT, and Republicans are allowing him to do that. I guess you are NOW going to ask about those constitutional violations?
Republicans have abandoned the last vestiges of conservatism that was already pretty skeptical of change and the values of a true representative government. Now, they've gone totally corrupt to benefit the party, and why the few Republicans with any integrity are starting to abandon the party of Lincoln. And another thing, its sickening to see Mitch McConnell's Senate allowing Trump to set its legislative agenda. McConnell has become no more than the President's "personal fixer" in the Senate. And, the citizens of the US pay the price.
Was I SPECIFIC ENOUGH? I'm sure I left some things out, but maybe subhub or other liberal posters will mention them to you.
