Braga looks gorgeous! I’ve seen some villas there that are very affordable. Thank you for all the recommendations. How do you think it would be for a black American expat? Hard to intergrate? Or more open and friendly? I seen a couple beautiful ladies on here from Portugal so I think it would be a good time in that sense.

Have you been to Aveiro?I know maybe it´s too touristic to live there but it´s a really nice place to visit!
Check out Finali Ligure on the Med coast of Spain ... French Riviera ... all the girls are topless ... sugar sand beaches ... cottages, night spots & motels right on the water and primary "holiday spot" for young Europeans.

they are pretty cheap man. but arent there active volcanos on the island? id prefer madeira portugal. more my vibe. id need air conditioning though

yeah and in that range its really nice. most are even cheaper.

Braga is a University city...Universidade do Minho...It has good energy, plus a lot of different industries...You are also close to Porto...I suggest you take a test drive...3-6 months and get a feel for the lay of the land...I go by Energy of a place...Braga for me is Top...Prices on Real Estate are rising fast...Porto and Lisboa are over-priced and tapped out market wise I..M.H.O. Boa Sorte...
