Dark black men vs "brown" black men

First time I encountered this. While on a dating site, I stumbled on a profile of a beautiful redhead white woman. Truth to be told she was maybe too beautiful to be real but that's not the point. The point is that she had this written on her profile, and I quote:

"BLACK men only and by BLACK I mean BLACK. Not interested in brown "black" men of any shade, BLACK means BLACK, PITCH BLACK, DARK BLACK COMPLEXION ONLY."

I have never seen this before. Is this thing real? Does such discrimination really exist among white women?

For the sake of my little discussion contribution in this thread only, let me differentiate between people descending from slaves here in America, as Afro-Americans, and those who are direct descendants of African nations, as African-Americans. Here in the States, in normal, everyday conversations, we don't differentiate between the two - we're all black men - period. And we black folk come in all shades, from charcoal dark to high yellow/pass for white. There must be hundreds of mentions just here on this site by women especially, that one of the things they like about IR sex is the contrast, the dark against the white skin. Sure, the lady in the profile could be referring to other ethnic groups, but I'm taking her for her words as she states them: she wants those black men who contrast the most, not chocolate brown (like I am) but dark, dark chocolate - be they Afro or African American.

After all, even within our race, we continue to show evidence of mini-discriminations based on where you are on the "black spectrum." (Want an 'entertaining' view of this topic, check out Spike Lee's movie, School Daze...)

Wow, thanks for the insight! Since I'm not from USA, I'm still finding out lots of different dynamics you guys have over there. I know only what bits and pieces mainstream lets out, like NBA player Kanyon Martin being teased and called "yellowboy" by other African Americans who were darker then him. Guess that would be example of mini-discrimination you mention. I also noticed, granted in porn, that pale white redheads are usually paired with really dark brothers. Probably to pronounciat the contrast. Or maybe there is something more. I'm really dark. Like, you get 1 millions dollars if you find me in night time dark LOL. I have to admit, the whiter the girl - the better, pale white as milk, no melanin whatsoever... Our brains are weird as fuck LOL

You got it!!

I think she could have better explained what she wanted with Black men. To me that is pretty rude. Now I do know that I have been approached by guys from India and they call themselves Black, To me they aren't. They are brown. I am not attracted to guys from India. I like the different flavors of chocolate as @James Moody so eloquently put it.

As an African born Black male, it would seem she is specifically looking for who is what most would envision as “sub-Saharan” Black. Most of the “Black folks” in the new world have roots (pun intended) are from the west coast of the continent. However, this is with the assumption that the sought individual is almost free of other races which is hard to guarantee.
I’m sure the exact shade she is looking for is prevalent in Nilotes (picture Luol Deng, Manut Bol, Hussein Obama, Lupita Nyongo, Alek Wek et.al.) who are obsidian black

Is it really discrimination, or colorism, or is it just someone's very particular preference? 🤔

I mean if she said "you have to be packing 9" inches or up, of long lasting, thick black cock, with no curve, and cut, who's a heavy cummer, to ride this ride"!
I reckon that there would be quite a few guys eliminated by those particular parameter preferences and I guarantee you that nobody would have a problem with those parameters but the moment she says she likes her black cocks super dark her preferences become discrimination!

My answer: Just be the better choice no matter what their preferences are and you will see just how willing people are to make exceptions!
For example: Maybe she has no problem finding dark chocolate men, but they may not be fit enough, or have enough dick for her, or the dick is big enough but he can't keep it hard!
Be the best damn alternative choice to her preferences that you can be.

On swinger sites I click on profiles that clearly say either "no single guys" or it says "interested in Hispanic guys"! After they weed through who has checked them out I will get a personal message from the couple offering a meet up, yet I don't neccesarily fit the description on their profile. Sometimes people compromise when given a good reason to! ✌
