So what is that supposed to mean? Did you even read the article?
i totaly luv it when someone tries to make their point by posting a link to a scientific article that actually doesn't really make a point about the subject matter. That is
not a proof!
i would say the discussion was about
penis length,
vaginal depth and how they correlate
during sexual intercourse (penile-vaginal penetration). Do you compare the average vaginal depth in a
non-aroused state with avg.
erect penis length? ImO that doesn't make much sense.
If the question is "How much length of an object is a vagina enabled to receive?" we have to consider
three vaginal states:
1.
non-aroused (avg. 3.77" =~ 9.6cm)
2.
aroused = "passively elongated" (avg. 6.28" =~ 16.0cm)
apart from the outer one third of the vaginal canal that is held by skin, muscles, the clitoris, ligaments and bones, the innermost two thirds elongate to typically twice their length of unaroused state during the process of arousal by ligaments that "pull" the uterus and cervix upward and slightly to the front; also in that inner part the vaginal tube widens
3.
aroused and stretched = "further elongated with active help" (avg. 7.53" =~ 19.1cm)
this does
not necessarily mean to "hit the cervix" in a painful manner because repeated soft pressure can also do the trick and help the ligaments lift the uterus further upwards and the cervix frontwards - a natural process during female arousal; so it's actually "team work"
This was exemplary for an average sized vagina which of course means there are smaller and bigger ones too. As i said before: my ex girlfriend, for instance, was able to take 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) fully. And that's my real-life experience and not some fantasy BS! Regards.
p.s.: As a reminder: the average penis is about 5.5 inches (14.0 cm) long.
