I've attended two of these types of gatherings and I've hosted two myself. Hosting allows more control and oversight. Attending a gathering is always a toss up. The number one priority for the guests should be safety. You never know if your host shares that same sentiment. Lots of moving parts and variables. Overall it can be a lot of fun. I personally never had a poor or bad experience, but I've heard stories. So it all depends on how the group is curated, if at all. Safety and security, the environment, positive energy, and a zero judgment space where discretion is of the utmost importance. Then you just let things go their natural course.
