Another Teacher caught having sex

Well another teacher was caught having sex with 4 highschool boys and two at one time in lufkin , tx I know this might seem a little harsh . This will continue to happen if it was me I would give ******* who are 16 , 17 if they knew not ******* some community service just a learning lesson jail time is harsh but teachers or any adult should be more accountable .

It doesn't matter if the student is over the age of consent. It doesn't matter if the student is 18 and legally an adult. When parents send their children to school they are trusting teachers like me to not only give their children an education; they also expect us to keep their children safe. Unfortunately with all of the school shootings lately keeping them safe isn't always possible. But we try.

I consider it a privilege to be trusted enough to make an impact on a baby's life. Every time something likes this happens it erodes the public's trust in our education system.

I totally agree I feel like this why should a 17 or 18 get away with this just my opinion because nobody is really forsing you at 18 you can make a decision for yourself .

While I understand you're wanting to hold 17 or 18 year olds accountable for their part in all of this they're still children and can be easily manipulated by an older, more experienced adult. A teacher is an authority figure. Children are taught from an early age to do what their teachers tell them.

When I was 17 in high school I had sex with a substitute teacher a few times. I knew damn well what I was doing because it was the greatest sex at the time. We did break it off when people started to put two and two together. Later in college I ran into her again and we started right back at it again For all the guy if your girl is in the military hold on they come out sluts many they love being away and just giving it up. She spent 6 years in the army

If a kid is 18 or 17, teacher still has to be punished. Anything lower than that prison time is warranted

My wife is a teacher and I know the community holds them to a higher standard but no wife/mom should be involved with high school *******. I have erased messages years ago directed to my wife coming from a young sounding male voice. The messages were very graphic and even called her by her first name I can not say my wife has never had sex with another man but can say never with a high school student she knows that is wrong.

I would agree that a teacher/student relationship is inappropriate and the teachers involved should be punished. However when I read opinions that 15,16, & 17 year olds are "still children" I'd have to disagree. Todays high school students are not the high school students of the "Leave it to Beaver" days. They are mature beyond their years, knowledgeable, and exposed to more than I ever dreamed of when I was that age. Having said that I'm NOT suggesting it's ok to have sex with that age group. I'm just saying for the most part I think they know what they're doing. My ******* told me when she was in high school the students had "pimp and ho" parties. I remember when I was 14 a girl asked me if I liked BJ's. I had no idea what she was talking about but said yes anyway. When I came home from school I asked my mom "what is a BJ?" The look on her face was priceless! Ask that same question to anyone in that age group today and I'd bet 100% would give the correct answer.

I think jail time is harsh but community service for a few days? Why not I'm 25 ******* where having sex in middle school and high school ******* aren't dumb is all I am saying .

Each situation is different yes I agree teachers should be held more accountable but if you're 16, 17, 18 I'm saying you're aware most likely what you're doing that's all I am not saying it's ok because that can have a lasting effect on a baby .
