I really should have left the key at the hotel. I think if I had, he would have reluctantly done it.
I think you're right. At least, it always works that way for my wife. I've had to take showers in fitness center locker rooms in my cage more than once. I've been given a massage for *******'s day and left in my cage (to this day I'm not sure if anything registered with my massage therapist when her elbow bumped the steel through the sheet, but I don't think she actually saw it). I once had to go through a metal detector in a government building and explain to the lady working there why it was going off, so she could bring a guy with a wand over and have him check me everywhere else. I've had to go into a side room and show my cage to airport security before. And it's almost certain someone is going to see my cage at some point if we go to a lifestyle event or hot springs or something. None of those were experiences I would have signed up for without a good nudge from my wife, but once you're in one of them, what are you going to do, run away?
Each instance started with my wife saying something like, "oh, I guess I forgot my key! Sorry babe. Guess you'll just have to see how it goes." Some (maybe even a majority) of the time I believe it was an honest oversight, but I'm quite sure she's done it intentionally many times. Chastity already makes a man feel submissive to his wife, but few things intensify that feeling quite like being told "no" when he insists he needs to be released, or being outed at her whim.
