If you're both getting what you want out of the relationship, who's to say what is right or wrong for your particular relationship?
I personally like the feel of silk, particularly in the summertime. I have a couple pair of silk boxers, and may get a couple more this year.
The "hotwife" thing is something else. Again, if it works for you, and you have no issues with her having sex with other men, go for it. If you have a bi-sexual side to yourself, maybe the two of you could have a fun 3-some, who knows. But, she needs to understand there is a big difference between tolerance for crossdressing and sex with other partners. Its your relationship; make it what you want.

Probably makes her feel less guilty of being with men, which is good. If she's going to start cucking you, you might want to discuss the parameters and rules regarding it. For instant, there'll be times when her men will want her to sleep over with them, or go on short trips. Or, you may prefer protection (condoms) rather than bareback, etc. Also, develop a "safe word or phrase" which she can use (when with another man) to tell you she wants to end the situation at hand, which lets you know to step in and help her.
