which white people , last time i looked there were lots of poor of every race. There are as many identified blacks in America as there are people in Canada but there are more rich black people in america than rich people in Canada so you want me to donate to Barac Obama , oh he is not really black. One group that will never get any special attention are those who we identify as poor. Having said this I have no problem helping anyone who needs it but the concept of paying someone for wrongs real or imaginary done to their ancestors is pretty bizarre and problematic. I also know that many people do not have much of a chance because of a number of factors including race. I am eligible for status but do not consider myself native except in the sense that all people born here are native but there are those who would kick you and me off turtle island

Interesting I don’t have a lot of knowledge on what it’s like to be black or how hard it is but I have a lot of experience in dealing with poor white people and I’ve tried to mentor some and help to bring them up the biggest challenge is taking someone that has grown up in a home that was full of poor examples of things like work ethic and drive and motivating them to make that switch hand outs only help a little I’m by know means trying to hurt anyone’s feelings it’s just a tough problem with tougher answers I wish to see a day when everyone can at least be considered middle class
