But still a theory.Actually, according to Scripture, human life began somewhere in what is now known as the Middle East, not Africa. Between what is now Iran, Iraq, Turkey, and Syria, human life is said to have originated in the Tigris and Euphrates River valley. That makes the spot's approximate location transcontinental, opening up a dispute as to whether it belongs to Africa, or Asia, depending on one's point of view as far as continents go. But, yeah, the area was in the Middle East.
