That actually makes sense to me. The one she has she has been dating awhile. It's her that asked me "why do they talk to you more than me". But I understand what you are saying and can see idiots doing that as once they get thier wish they regret it. One over her boyfriends did tell me that I am a rare and she is as we are really good to be around. But what you said makes me understand why some guys are standing offish.
Only time was a guy she dumped. I guess he thought I’d help him get back with her.
The buyers remorse is the least sexiest risk. You need so much proof besides someone’s word. It’s happened many times in the heat of the moment too. Nothing’s worse than an angry husband while you’re skin deep.

There are benefits to both, so perhaps there should be an open communication between all three parties.
We did it this way too (guy communicates with me and not her) but we ran into problems- when it's time to actually meet she felt awkward and uncomfortable, so that ruined quite a few meetups... now we have her communicating, so she is much more comfortable and confident with things, keeping me in the loop about everything of course

It's a good system and again different things work for different people...
In our case, it would still be awkward when they meet, seems that she genuinely needs to get comfortable with him and build chemistry with him herself prior to meeting and doing things. Also seeing the messages back and forth and how hot they get is sooo hot for me, almost as good as watching them actually fuck lol (well not quite but kinda lol)
