We are considering a trip next January or February. What is the best resort to be sure to find plenty of BBC? Which hotel, apart from Hedo, would you recommend? Hedo and Jamaica aren't very convenient coming from France...

Hedo and all inclusive places like it don't allow non-guests on the property unless they're invited/with a registered guest. So you will not find locals just strolling around.
