Asian Women.....Why are so few into BBC?

I can say but please know this is not my feeling…

For women I think the stereotype is what we see on tv and music stuff. That black guys have sex with many women and are mean. Only use women and don’t treat them nice.

I don’t know what men think but I think they are intimidated by black men so they teach women to stay away from them.

This is just my guess. We don’t really talk about these things. Japan is mostly Japanese people so we just think about Japanese and not foreigners so much.

In Japan I think it is not women don’t like black men but we feel pressure to date only Japanese. Young Japanese likes black culture I think but their parents will not approve dating with a black man. Most don’t approve dating with any foreigner actually.

There is stereotype in Japan about black men but I don’t think it is fair. I have not been with a black man or even dated. Actually, I have not spoken to one until I joined this site It is sad but I was too shy and felt pressure too. For me, it's Spanish Caribbean for me. This is true. Thank you for understanding. Our family must approve or we will not have relationship with family anymore. I was not brave and never talked to foreign guys. I married a Japanese man that my parents approved. I think many Asian women are like this, not just Japanese.

Being black and having lived in Asia for 5+ years, there appears to be an apprehension that Asian women have in regards to Blacks. I truly agree with what you say @SanDiegoBlack. Being stationed in Japan with a bunch of U.S. Marines as a Navy Hospital Corpsman (FMF) . Japanese girls were shy when they came around to the “Brotha’s” but then after they got to know us. We could not get them off of us! They have been told a lot of “Negativity” about the Blackman since the Portuguese first bought along African slaves to Japan in the late 1500’s to open the trade routes and some “Whites” in the United States of Amerikkka that were stationed over in Japan post World War II. This is partly true...it's the reason why you see more Asian women dating and marrying white men. Because they are proceived to be earners, if an Asian women is going to date outside her culture it isn't as look down upon. Like it or not Black men we still have worked to do to improve our image and standing in the world.

I thank you for your honesty and opinion. Your words are what I thought I would see. Instead, I received dozens of messages telling me that I'm just "not looking in the right places, etc." It's not particular to Asia, either. Our entire nation has a race problem that we've never dealt with. It's at the root of much of the hatred and division in this country. I'm just looking for the green shoots that pop up and blossom through the dirt!
