Years ago I spent some time in Rockland and Rockport; on one hand I've never forgotten the warmth the locals extended to us (navy visit), BUT I have to say it was unsettling to me to feel August morning temperatures in the 40s.....I still have thoughts of visiting but it'd never be Sep-Apr.....

Tough sledding here in Maine. We find there are lots of Boston based guys who want you to travel or bend your schedule to when they happen to be in town, but they usually don't pan out for a connection the way someone local would.
