Yeah. Nowadays you have to be on the alert for the ubiquitous telemarketers-from selling extended warranties for your car, or software updates for a PC when you have a MAC, etc etc. I ignore the calls and just hope that if it's somebody I want to talk to (like old friends whose numbers I don't know) that they'll leave a message so I can call back. Life was simpler when Maxwell Smart could talk into his shoe.

Why would anyone have a Mac?

Like everything else, it’s a numbers game,,,when it comes to computer fraud, identity theft, ransom ware, etc. you throw as much as you can out there, and grab what sticks,,,that being said, Windows outnumbers Mac ten to one, so it’s not worth the effort to create malware for the Mac, ergo its a safer machine in that respect. I don’t have a Mac, but I do have an iPad,,,which was the only thing I felt safe with when my Norton expired. I didn’t like how Norton slowed me down so I chose PC Matic this time, now after a year I’m back on my PC.
