This is a thread about Biden and the Democrats, from a policy perspective! Yes, that's right, boring-old policy. The stuff that affects the day to day lives of every American, along with a huge chunk of non-Americans worldwide.
We are now 45 days into the 46th presidency of these United States.
Uncle Joe is in charge, with narrow control of the US Senate, and control of the House. The Democrats are back, baby!
Let's check up on how they're doing so far.

Let's use this thread to keep track of the goings-on of our business-friendly centrist ruling party, the DNC!

Let's check up on how they're doing so far.
- Biden kicked off his term by reversing a bunch of bizarre executive orders from the previous administration. Migrant ******* won't have to stay in cages anymore. That's nice.
- Biden is finally using that Defense Authorization Act to kick Covid vaccine production into high gear. We'll get enough vaccines made for everyone. Yay!
- Covid stimulus is not going awesome. Once again they tried to compromise with Republicans by letting some Democrats dress up as Republicans so they could lose a negotiation with themselves first. Minimum wage increases, a ridiculously popular policy that benefits hundreds of millions of people, is out of the bill (and unlikely to pass on its own without first killing the filibuster, which... lol)
