When i go to blacked.com and sort their videos by rating, most scenes with the highest rating are from 2021-2022. Most of them with Anton Harden with his huge BBC. But the third best scene from 2016 is with Amanda Lane and Jason Brown.

Therefore, the question arises for me, what can be the reason for this? Is there a backstory (perhaps to Amanda Lane?) that makes this scene so popular?

It’s a good question! I’m not sure about that specific video, but Amanda Lane has one of the few vids on that website in which her dirty talk actually explicitly references the race of the dude fucking her. The picture shows the top rated black scenes by their users. And you can see that the scene with amanda from 2016 doesnt fit to the other scenes.
