Serious question, who else here thinks that this lifestyle brings and or makes your relationships stronger/ closer.

What myself and husband has found with our play is that after words the feelings of closeness are unbelievable.
Just recently like any cpl we had been having a dry spell, as well as kinf of at one anothers throats..
After words, we reclaim and have aftercare and the bond we have and the closeness is something that I cant explain.
The communication and caring, the suport and love is amazing. IMO this makes us closer.
Anyone else have any serous thoughts..

For us ... I the male desired to be submissive to someone for easily 30 years . My ex wife was not into it nor did she have a ounce of Domme in her . On the Female side , She is naturally Dominant. In her marriage she never exercised or I doubt even thought of being Domme to a man . At the start I confessed who I thought I was . I also was a bit naive as far as living a reality .. And then she said that magic word ... Lifestyle . We then set up a communication ... a contract with boundaries .. I couldn't be happier . I feel closer to her the more she takes charge or acts out her natural sexual self with no guilt .

we were always very close. Since this started, we have had ups and downs, feelings, accidents, and everything in between. From a pandemic to a lack of self confidence.
We seem to always come back and when we do its like we are newly weds.
Simply put it definitely makes us better as a cpl.
My husband is a handsome sexual guu, very satisfying for me, but the act and the kink amd the filthiest stuff seems to cement us. bring us back.
we talk to our councilor about this, i ha e a therapist he knows.
it definitely works for us.
