i recently ordered two tickets for wife and i to attend a comedy show in downtown chicago on sunday-7/25 at 5pm with us going to dinner either after or before.
we were hoping to make reservations for a hotel for a couple of days in downtown chicago. unfortunately, i have not been able to find one that has all or most of the amenities that we wanted.
however, i have been able to find a hotel in the west suburbs that does have what we are looking for (and free parking as well).
as of now, i have made reservations for us to stay at this hotel on sunday-7/25, monday-7/26, and tuesday-7/27.
it is an accessible room with a king size bed. there is an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa (hot tub).
we are looking for some things to do in the western suburbs or northwestern suburbs during this time period and have discussed getting tickets for a chicago cubs baseball game on the monday or tuesday evening or possibly a minor league baseball game in rosemont on tuesday evening. as of now, i have been unable to find any musical events or plays scheduled in those areas during that time period. i do see that there is a casino in the northwest suburbs, however, neither of us are big gamblers.
we have been talking about inviting a black man to join us for a part or most of this stay.
please respond to indicate interest and availability and we will have to follow-up to determine if this would be something that may work.
