Club 101 is pretty terrible but if you want to drive about 2 hours south, Club 440 in Cincinnati is pretty decent.

You should check out Ohio Swings in New Carlisle, OH just North of Dayton. I have been there many times, and the people are friendly. The hosts make an effort to introduce new people around. They are open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I have had a good time just about every time I have visited.
